Now, as far as I understand it, rppm should no longer scale with haste rating, spell haste, things like UF, or pretty much anything else. (not including legendary effects, which still scale with haste)
Here is the new formula for the rppm proc rate:
(BaseRPPM * TimeSinceLastProcChance (capped at 10) / 60) * MAX(1, 1 + ((TimeSinceLastSuccessfulProc( capped at 1000, set to 120 when entering combat)/(60 / BaseRPPM) - 1.5)*3) = % chance to proc.
This should scale with nothing but the base proc rate, and time. I'm not sure it's working right.
What I need you guys to do is the following.
Step 1: Get a toon on the PTR. Note what build of the PTR you are on.
Step 2: Get 2 rppm trinkets (t16 crit trinket, feather, rage, gaze, spark)
Step 3: Equip said trinkets, set up logs, and go melee a training dummy for no less than 1 hour. You don't need to be there, just keep autoattack on with the trinkets equipped. Feel free to have any gear you want on, and pick a 93 or a 90 training dummy.
Step 4: Leave a reply to this post with the following information:
Character name (on ptr), log link, trinkets used, PTR build number, haste rating, spec, weapon(s), level of target dummy, do you have any of the following things on: any tier bonuses, or any legendary effects.
That's it! If I get enough logs, I can either get whatever is broken fixed, or properly model and let you guys know what trinkets to use both going into T16, and what trinkets to roll on during T16.
Thanks to all people who decide to contribute in advance!
